Thank You for the Standing Ovation, Women Standing Strong of Huntingdon!

On Sunday, I was proud to stand among my fellow patriots, singing hymns and holding lit candles in solidarity for our precious Democracy at the Vigil for Democracy at the Lutheran chapel in Gettysburg.

Attendees listened to excellent speeches and stopped at stations of “Ethical Governance,” “Separation of Powers,” “Separation of Church and State,” and other important elements of our Democracy that have been eroded by the current administration and complicit Congress.

May our neighbors and families #ChooseDemocracy instead of excusing fascism.

Many, many thanks to Women Standing Strong for hosting the meet and greet in Huntingdon on Tuesday. They welcomed me very warmly and gave me a standing ovation when I finished. It was a terrific event, well attended, full of good food and great vibes, and signed petitions. I also thank Team Beth Farnham for Congress member, Janis Jones, and her neighbor, Pam Gannon, for hosting meet and greets in their homes so I could connect with even more voters.

Thank you to the Cambria County Democratic Committee event in Ebensburg, also on Tuesday. It was a strong start to the petition season.

Because candidates in Pennsylvania need signatures of support to appear on the ballots for the primary election, it is important to connect with the different county Democratic committees in order to learn about petition signing events or how to circulate a petition. I need 1000 signatures, for example, as do Governor Josh Shapiro and Lt. Governor Austin Davis in order to appear on the Democratic ballot of the May 19th Primary Election.

Please follow the link below in order to reach out to the committee of the county in which you reside:

Thank you to Blue Storm Action in Gettysburg for opening up their meeting to candidates and petitions. It was a packed house at Unitarian Universalist Church of Gettysburg on Friday night. Voters signed petitions for candidates and learned about our platforms. To learn more about mine, please visit my priorities page here: https://bethfarnhamforsenate.com/priorities/

Thank you to Cumberland County Democratic Committee for hosting a fantastic petition signing event yesterday! It was a packed house with great spirit and important information. I will be sorry to see Matt Roan retire as Chair and Liz Reilly retire as Vice Chair, but I know your committee will also find great replacements to tackle the challenges of this year because…

Together, we #ChooseDemocracy!

Legislative Comparison

Check out how Joyce recently voted, how I would have voted in comparison and why!

If you’re like me, you love this country as much as I do and work to make a positive difference. In the midst of this Constitutional Crisis, please consider reaching out to your local Democratic committees or Democratic candidates so that we can strengthen our Democracy instead of letting it slide into fascism.

We don’t just #ChooseDemocracy, we choose Pennsylvania, we choose The United States of America, we choose Humanity and I am deeply glad to work along side you.

Sincerely,

Beth

  1. I thank you for being an option for we voter. Jon Joyce seldom has the interest of the voters at heart.
