District Round-up 11.01.26
Dear Neighbor, Thank you for reading my District Round-up. As your candidate for Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District, it is my honor and pleasure to deliver to you where I’ve been and what issues I’ve tackled in the past week. Criss-crossing the counties of Adams, Franklin, Fulton, Bedford, Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, and Somerset gives me great opportunities to meet with voters, hear what is on your hearts and minds, and the chance to voice my fight for Everyday Americans. If you would like to contribute to my campaign, please donate here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/beth-farnham-for-congress-1

Candidate Forum

Many thanks to Juniata College Politics Department, Juniata College ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge, and AAUW Huntingdon for hosting tonight’s candidate forum.
It was a delight to answer questions from the hosts and from the audience. Topics ranged from public education, to the unsustainable cost of living, to A.I. data centers and more.
Of course our own U.S. Representative, out-of-touch, multimillionaire John Joyce, was absent, as were all of the Republican candidates because they don’t believe in answering voters’ genuine questions, nor do they have defensible stances.
That’s okay, fellow candidates Sean Steeg for PA Senate, Caleb Donahue for PA House, and I are working to replace them all.
Please vote for me, Beth Farnham, on November 3rd so I can serve our beautiful 13th Congressional District and please vote for Democrats up and down the ballot to save our country from a wannabe dictator and his bootlickers.
Together, we #ChooseDemocracy and REAL representation.

Shapiro/Davis Bus Tour

Many thanks to the Shapiro Davis Campaign for making another stop in our beautiful 13th Congressional District! I enjoyed meeting UPJ students, Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis again, and catching up with Representative Malcom Kenyatta and PA Democratic Party Chair, Eugene A. DePasquale.
I even got to sign the bus!
Governor Shapiro and Lieutenant Governor Davis have made several stops in PA-13 including in Blair County, Perry County, Huntingdon County, and Bedford County for which I am equally grateful.
Together, we #ChooseDemocracy!

Grateful for Local Coverage

Thank you to the local media for keeping norms of Democracy!
Because Joyce didn’t have the courage to debate me, WGAL News Channel 8 Susquehanna Valley, Pa. produced write-ups in order to give their viewership something about our campaigns.
He also didn’t show up for the Candidate Forum in Huntingdon, nor did he answer the Huntingdon Chamber of Commerce questionnaire.
He didn’t interview with the WPSU radio station either, despite several requests from them.
But I showed up at the forum. I answered the questionnaire. I interviewed on the WPSU radio.
Why?
Because I show up for the people time and time again.
It’s why I also came to Johnstown to interview with the The Tribune-Democrat paper.
I won’t hide from us, The People.
Together, we #ChooseDemocracy!

Joyce’s Desperation

In addition to several television andbnewspaper ads that he doesn’t normally do for election years, Joyce, who has never acknowledged my existence, apparently had Trump write the words he’s too cowardly to write. He certainly made no statement despising it.
Let’s vote out of office that sorry excuse for a U.S. Representative. Together, we #ChooseDemocracy!

Last Campaign Event in Hollidaysburg

Many thanks to Team Beth Farnham Volunteer Recruiter Eileen Roberts and volunteers Mike, Erica, Renee, Norman, and Sarah for creating our theme for our entry in the Halloween Parade of Hollidaysburg. I appreciated very much that all I had to do was show up and wave a big American flag. I love my country and I can’t wait to represent us!
Together, we #ChooseDemocracy!
Charity of the Week!
Even though charitable donations will not meet the overwhelming need of food assistance and healthcare for lower income Americans, these charities are a stopgap until I am elected to the U.S. House of Representatives and can legislate helpful federal programs as well as prevent a rapacious president from illegally impounding the congressionally-approved funds for those programs.
Please check out the WPSU station page, if you can.

Comparing and Contrasting Votes on Legislation
Check out how Joyce recently voted, how I would have voted in comparison, and why!
FYI – if you’re having trouble seeing this comparison in your email, please click the option for “Read on Blog” and it will load properly for you.
If you’re like me, you love this country as much as I do and work to make a positive difference. In the midst of this Constitutional Crisis, please consider reaching out to your county Democratic committee or Democratic candidates so that we can strengthen our Democracy instead of letting it slide into fascism. We don’t just #ChooseDemocracy, we choose Pennsylvania, we choose The United States of America, we choose Humanity and I am deeply glad to work along side you. Sincerely, Beth
