District Round-up 10.25.26
Dear Neighbor, Thank you for reading my District Round-up. As your candidate for Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District, it is my honor and pleasure to deliver to you where I’ve been and what issues I’ve tackled in the past week. Criss-crossing the counties of Adams, Franklin, Fulton, Bedford, Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, and Somerset gives me great opportunities to meet with voters, hear what is on your hearts and minds, and the chance to voice my fight for Everyday Americans. Finding Our Power

The most POWERFUL thing we can do in this moment is darken an oval.
Not set fires.
Not hurt people.
VOTE for our DEMOCRACY.
Or you might not get to again.
Republicans in Congress are just fine with eliminating our rights:
to vote,
to have a system of checks and balances in our government,
to have agency over own bodies,
to afford our everyday essentials like gas in the tank, food on the table, healthcare, and housing,
to belong to unions,
to hold accountable those who violate human rights, Constitutional law, and international law.
But you can stop this chaos and the risk to our national security with A BLACK PEN.
When you finish, you won’t get a marching band.
You won’t get a glitter parade.
But you will have done the thing that will actually stop the current government that only operates through the whims of a corrupt and predatory racist and his treasonous bootlickers.
Vote for me, Beth Farnham, on November 3rd to save our country from fascism.
(But if you want to make a fist, go ahead and knock a door to convince others to VOTE! That’s the second most POWERFUL thing you can do! Call your local county Democratic committee to find out where.)
Together, we #ChooseDemocracy!
Lovely Meet & Greet

Many thanks to Robert and Mary Darling for hosting a lovely meet & greet in their home. It was a terrific time to meet new voters, especially those from different parties. The setting was vibrant, the energy fantastic as voters listened attentively and asked me questions about the issues near and dear to their hearts. Together, we #ChooseDemocracy!

NOW Endorsement

Do you know who ACTUALLY cares about women and girls?
The National Organization for Women (NOW)!
They fight for equal pay for equal work, racial justice, reproductive freedom, LGBTQIA+ rights, ending violence against women, and more!
And I am incredibly proud to be endorsed by them.
Who is not endorsed by them?
My opponent, an out-of-touch multimillionaire who voted against reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act in 2021 and who’s just fine with rising maternal mortality rates in states that have severely restricted abortion rights.
Don’t fall for Republican claptrap claiming to care about women and girls.
They’re the party of child marriage, not releasing the entire Epstein files, and Vivek Ramaswamy’s horrendous ad supporting a victim’s rapist.
Vote for Democrats up and down the ballot, including me, Beth Farnham, on November 3rd, so we can create policies that ensure women’s bodily autonomy, equal pay, racial justice, and safety.
Together, we #ChooseDemocracy
A Level Playing Field

Our U.S. Representative, an elitist, out-of-touch multimillionaire, is too cowardly to debate me, but WJAC-TV News granted us a level platform in recording our interviews with their station. They asked each of us the exact same questions which I deeply appreciate the opportunity to answer and I did so by coming to Johnstown.
You can listen to our answers here:
Election 2026: John Joyce, Beth Farnham face questions in 6 News congressional interviews https://wjactv.com/…/election-2026-john-joyce-beth…
If you’ve never heard from our U.S. Representative and wonder what he would actually say, I offer this link to our interviews.
Please vote for me, Beth Farnham, on November 3rd, so I can properly represent us Everyday Americans like the hard-working families and retirees on fixed incomes.
Together, we #ChooseDemocracy!
Courage for Democracy

Many thanks to Courage for Democracy for their support of my candidacy. It will take courage to impeach President Trump and Vice President Vance for their crimes against humanity and Constitutional Law, but I know we have the blessing of the Revolutionary Founders.
Why?
Because the Revolutionary Founders created the Impeachment process. They foresaw that sometimes the wrong person would be in office, whether they were elected there, appointed, or they changed for the worse over time.
The Impeachment process is the gift of non-violence from those who had sacrificed to found this nation of ours.
And if there is a Democratic majority and the President and Vice President are removed from power, then the Democratic Speaker of the House succeeds them and assumes the Presidency.
We must, however, find the courage to use this process, no matter how many times it has failed before.
“Courage looks good on Beth Farnham!

Beth isn’t a career politician or a multimillionaire. She’s a mom, a former school board member, and someone who understands the challenges everyday Americans are facing.
She’s running for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 13th District to fight for affordable healthcare, reproductive freedom, public education, and a government that actually answers to the people.
And she’s not afraid to hold that government accountable.
Beth has pledged to support impeachment because defending the Constitution isn’t optional. It’s the job.
While too many in Congress are avoiding tough questions, Beth is showing up, holding town halls, and making herself accessible to the people she wants to represent.
That’s the kind of representation we need more of.
Pennsylvania’s 13th District, you’ve got a Courage Candidate on the ballot this November!

More Town Halls

Many thanks to the Perry County Democratic Committee for hosting their Town Hall on Thursday. Attendees came prepared with questions and fellow candidates Nate Wood for State Senate and Wendy Morgan for State House provided great answers to the State questions asked of them.
Thank you also to my terrific team of volunteers who made possible our Town Hall at the Juniata Brewing Company in Huntingdon County and our very last Town Hall at the McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company in Fulton County today.
I appreciate everyone’s hard work to make these happen so that community members could share and get a taste of what could be. I not only would absolutely continue to hold public, in-person Town Halls throughout my term as U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District, I would sponsor legislation that compels other members of Congress to do the same.
Please vote for me, Beth Farnham, on November 3rd, so I can continue to listen to you.
Together, we #ChooseDemocracy!

Republicans Meet Beth
Many, many thanks to Dave and Sunny Santa of Sunny Anna’s cafe in Johnstown who invited me to speak to voters at their cafe. I met many voters, especially of the Republican party, whom I enjoyed speaking and finding common ground with. Together, we #ChooseDemocracy!

Charity of the Week!
Even though charitable donations will not meet the overwhelming need of food assistance and healthcare for lower income Americans, these charities are a stopgap until I am elected to the U.S. House of Representatives and can legislate helpful federal programs as well as prevent a rapacious president from illegally impounding the congressionally-approved funds for those programs.
Please check out the National Organization for Women (NOW), if you can.

Comparing and Contrasting Votes on Legislation
Check out how Joyce recently voted, how I would have voted in comparison, and why!
FYI – if you’re having trouble seeing this comparison in your email, please click the option for “Read on Blog” and it will load properly for you.
If you’re like me, you love this country as much as I do and work to make a positive difference. In the midst of this Constitutional Crisis, please consider reaching out to your county Democratic committee or Democratic candidates so that we can strengthen our Democracy instead of letting it slide into fascism. We don’t just #ChooseDemocracy, we choose Pennsylvania, we choose The United States of America, we choose Humanity and I am deeply glad to work along side you. Sincerely, Beth
